RULES & CONDITIONS
CHOIRS
- In all Choral Sections, entries are limited to one Choir per school per Section.
- All students must be under school staff supervision at all times whilst in the Theatre.
- Where Solo parts are specified, the parts so marked are to be sung collectively by the whole of the voices in the respective Section of the Choir.
- Any Choir entered as a School Choir shall consist solely of bona-fide current students of the school named.
- No member of one Choir will be permitted to perform with another Choir in the same Section.
- Choir risers provided: 5 sets of 4 levels (plus floor) These are optional for Novelty Chorus & may be moved.
OWN CHOICE Sheet music must be submitted on the day of performance, before commencement of Section as outlined in General Rule 3. Championship scores must be marked on front with C (Chief), U (Unison) & A (Australian) and numbered
1, 2 or 3 to show performance order.
PERFORMANCE
- The same item must not be performed more than once by the same competitor in the current Eisteddfod.
- 2 representatives from each Choir to remain back stage for adjudication.
ACCOMPANIMENT
- A piano only must be used for all Choral Sections except Song by Australian Composer (Instruments as per score).
- Competitors are responsible for obtaining their own accompanists. One piano is available.
CURTAIN (Optional) Allowed at the beginning and end for Novelty Chorus only. Please notify the Marshall prior to the start of the Section
VENUE ETIQUETTE NO barracking, whistling or yelling out from the audience or backstage.

- Choir or Group attaining highest marks in any Discipline
