SCHIMMEL PIANOFORTE ENTRIES CLOSE 31ST MAY 2021 AT 3PM Section Chair Maree Nolan Deputy Chair Peter Zala SPECIAL CONDITIONS To be read in conjunction with General Conditions - In all sections, competitors must provide original music & upload music via MyStage for the adjudicator one month prior to the scheduled competing time. Instructions to how upload music sheets will be provided at a later date.

- The Royal South Street Society holds an APRA AMCOS and PPCA license.
- V.C.E competitors may repeat items once only in any other section for which they, and the item, are eligible.
- Time Limits: Competitors need to be aware of and comply with time limits. Performance will be adjudicated to the maximum time limit.
- Dress Code: Each performance is considered a concert, therefore, appropriate concert dress is expected. School uniform is acceptable.
- NOVICE: Novice Sections are for students who have not won a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in a solo piano section at any eisteddfod. The following AMEB or equivalent Grade Levels will also apply.
- 8 years & Under and Novice section Maximum Grade 1 level
- 9 years & Under Novice section Maximum Grade 1 level
- 10 years & Under Novice section Maximum Grade 2 Level
- 11 years & Under Novice section Maximum Grade 3 level
- 12 years & Under Novice section Maximum Grade 3 level
- 14 years & Under Novice section Maximum Grade 4 level
- DEFINITIONS OF POPULAR MUSIC: Themes from television, Film, Radio, Jazz, Blues, Boogie & Ragtime, or Rock & Pop, are permitted. Does NOT include traditional classical music.

** Frank Robertson-Smith Trust Encouragement Award
$100 will be awarded at the discretion of the adjudicator to a pianist
who has played in the14 years and under age group.
** Regional Encouragement Award
$75 will be awarded to a student who lives or studies, within a 75 km
radius of Ballarat,has played in three solo sections and who in the
opinion of the adjudicator shows potential, but is not necessarily a
prize winner in the 16 years and under age group.
Previous winners are ineligible.
** 'Darcy' Perpetual Shield.
* Will be awarded to the competitor with the highest aggregate points in
all 14 years and under sections. |
