 DIVISION 18 - WOODWIND SOLOS

a.         Open to Woodwind Instruments.

 

WOODWIND UNACCOMPANIED SOLO

a.         Composition must be written as an unaccompanied solo.

 

POPULAR/JAZZ/MOVIE WOODWIND SOLO

a.         Includes popular melodies or jazz style.

b.         Backing CD or MP3 optional.

c.         May be accompanied or unaccompanied.

1. Competitors must enter and perform in at least two other Solo Sections on the same instrument. 2. Two contrasting pieces. 3. Pieces to be a minimum AMEB Grade 6 standard (or equivalent examining body).
