800 A Senior Instrumental Solo     16 years and over

Open to Woodwind, Brass and String Instruments only. Each competitor is to play TWO items that are of CONTRASTING character. Both of these items are to be completed within the time limit of 10 minutes. NB: To be eligible for this Championship students need to also enter at least one of their corresponding age instrumental solo sections. For Brass, either Section 164 or 165. For Strings either section 702 or 703. For Flutists any section from 802 - 805. For Clarinettists any section from 807 - 810. For Saxophonists any section from 812 - 815.

800 B Intermediate Instrumental Solo     13 to 15 years

Open to Woodwind, Brass and String Instruments only. Each competitor is to play TWO items that are of CONTRASTING character.
