The definition of an Australian Poet is as follows:

 "A poet who is Australian born, a naturalized Australian, or a Poet who is widely published in Australian Anthologies or whose themes are recognizably Australian."


In group improvisation, all groups must be completely unique with no individual competing in more than one performance.


Group Mimes: Individuals may compete in more than one group as long as they are the correct age.


School groups will not be programmed to start before 9.30am.


All pieces must show title and Author where applicable.


In Speech & Drama competitors must not use pre-recorded electronic accompaniment or backing for character recitals or dramatic scenes unless specified for that particular section.

Individuals may compete up to 2 times within one Duo/Trio category (not improvisation) provided there is a change of partner.
