DIVISION 15 - MULTI-INSTRUMENT SOLOS AND DUETS 

a.         Open to any instrument other than piano, unless otherwise specified.

 

INSTRUMENTAL AND PIANO SONATA DUET

a.         Judged as a duet.

b.         Two players – one instrumental and one piano.

 

OTHER INSTRUMENT DUET

a. Open to any instrumental combination other than those programmed.

1. Open to any musical instrument other than piano. 2. Two contrasting pieces of a minimum Grade 6 AMEB standard (or equivalent).

301 INSTRUMENTAL CONCERTO     Open

Time Limit: 12:00

1. Open to any musical instrument other than piano. 2. One movement only with abridged accompaniment.

1. Open to any Woodwind or Brass instrument. 2. One movement only with abridged accompaniment.

Time Limit: 10:00

1. May be unaccompanied if written as such. 2. One movement only to be played. 3. When a pre-Classical piece is chosen, two contrasting movements may be performed.
