The Eisteddfod Committee
see this Section as an opportunity for performers in the newer styles of the
1970’s through to the present date and urge singers to look for music in this
genre rather than an update of older music. (Please use musical comedy in the
main items for Musical Comedy – Not This Section.)
must provide their own accompanist or use a backing tape machine or CD. However
it is the competitor’s responsibility to provide and set up any such machine
and this must be done without interfering with the running of the competitions
and within three minutes of previous competitor finishing. A cassette player,
CD player and microphone will be available for competitors’ use. It is the
competitor’s responsibility to comply with copyright regulations re dubbing of
taped music. No vocals are permitted on any backing tape/CD.

be SIGHTED when booking in.
