DIVISION 02 - VOCAL SOLOS – Open

 

VOCAL GENERAL RULES

 

One song only unless otherwise indicated.

Own choice of music.

The use of a microphone and/or pre-recorded electronic backing or accompaniment is NOT permitted unless specifically stated in the rules for that division.

If backing tracks are allowed in contemporary sections, they must contain Instrumental backing only, in CD or MP3 format.

Where backing track or microphone permitted, competitors must use the uni-directional microphone and sound equipment supplied by the Eisteddfod.
