Senior Ensemble Sections 4.01 to 4.03

Entrants must register no later than 45 minutes after the session start time as advised on the entrant’s Notice of Appearance. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. 

Stage plans for all ensembles must be submitted a minimum of ONE week prior to the competition. Stage plan templates can be downloaded from www.boroondara.vic.gov.au/eisteddfod

Sections in Category 4 may be combined at the discretion of the Committee.

Venue:

Sections 4.01-4.03: Hawthorn Arts Centre (HArts), 360 Burwood Rd, Hawthorn

The venue will open 45 minutes prior to the commencement of the session.

General:

Please refer to the section schedule for specific rules. 

Competitors can choose music of their own choice for all sections.

Section 4.01 – Yrs 7 – 12 Piano with other instruments

Ensembles of 3 to 14 performers. Unconducted and unaccompanied.

Section 4.02 – Yrs 7 – 12 Strings, wind and other combinations (not including piano)

Ensembles of 3 to 14 performers. Unconducted and unaccompanied.

Section 4.03 – ADMIS Chamber Music Award 

Ensembles of up to 8 performers. Unconducted and unaccompanied.
