Choral Sections 6.01 to 6.06

Entrants
must register no later than 45 minutes after the session start time as advised
on the entrant’s Notice of Appearance. Failure to do so will result in
disqualification.

Venue:
Sections 6.01-6.06: Hawthorn Arts Centre (HArts), 360 Burwood Rd,
Hawthorn
The venue will open 45 minutes prior to the commencement of the
session.
General:
Please
refer to the section schedule for specific rules.
Competitors
can choose music of their own choice for all sections.
Section 6.01 – Year 6 & below Primary
School Choir - Novice
Two contrasting selections, one in unison, one
in parts. Any combination of voices; minimum 15 singers.
Eligibility: For choirs of schools not awarded
1st, 2nd or 3rd place in the Boroondara Eisteddfod in the last two years. For beginner choirs that are starting to develop the skill of part singing.
Section 6.02 – Year 6 & below Primary
School Choir – Regular & Section
6.03 – Years 7-9 Secondary School Choir & Section 6.04 – Years
7-12 Secondary School Choir
Two
contrasting selections, one in unison, one in parts. Any combination of voices;
minimum 15 singers.
Section 6.05 – 18 yrs & under A
Capella Choir and Section 6.06 –
Open A Capella Choir
Two contrasting selections. Any combination of
voices, no instrumental accompaniment; minimum four singers.
