SPEECH & DRAMA
Entries must be received by 30 Jun 2024 Tentative Dates: Monday, 19th August to Wednesday, 21st August 2024 ADJUDICATOR: Linda Gefken Convenor: Glynnise Matthews, assisted by Emily Just. (For enquiries about these sections, contact speech.drama@lve.org.au) SPEECH & DRAMA RULES Please ensure you also read the "General Conditions of Competitions" carefully - in Stardom these are accessed by using the link labelled "Program Rules". - Please observe time limits, read schedule conditions carefully.
- No costumes to be worn unless specified.
- Stage effects - helium balloons, lighted candles, sparklers, lighted cigarettes, explosive devices (e.g. party poppers), glass, liquids or naked flames - are not permitted.
- It is a condition of entry that a script must be provided for the Adjudicator.
- All Abilities sections are open to individuals or groups (for purpose of All Abilities, a group is 2 or more performers) who are enrolled or registered in either a supported community or supported education program or registered with National Disability Insurance Agency.
- Sections 601 - 607: Original script must be used by competitor on stage.
- Prizes: First Place: Medallion, Second & Third Place: Medals unless otherwise stated.
