| | Competitors are to compose a contemporary styled composition. You must submit a written copy of your lyrics.
Competitors will then be required to perform/conduct a performance of their composition at the Eisteddfod. Lyrics are to be family friendly and encouraged to be uplifting.

| 159 | Mitchell Conservatorium Original Composition Open Age Time Limit: 04:00 |
| | Competitors are to compose a piece and submit a written copy of their composition (either hand written or by computer programme) one week before the commencement of the Eisteddfod. Compositions may be written for any instrumentation.
