* Own Choice - any style or period of music unless specified

* Woodwind, Brass & Strings competitors must find their own accompanist if required.

* Instrumental Ensembles can include all instruments unless stated otherwise. They are also permitted to enter the OPEN section as band members.

* All bands, choirs, ensembles and groups must submit full scores for the adjudicator.

* Own Compositions are allowed providing a copy is given to the adjudicator.

* In Primary and Secondary ensembles, groups and bands, competitors must be students of the school entered. Conductors, Staff and/or Parents are not permitted to perform with the students.

* School banners on music stands are not permitted on stage.

* In the combined schools band section, entrants must be from different schools or formed from a combination of Primary and Secondary Students.

* All bands, choirs, ensembles and groups must submit full scores for the adjudicator.

* School groups will not be programmed to start before 9.30am.

* Own Compositions are allowed providing a copy is given to the adjudicator.

* There are no set pieces this year. The two contrasting pieces should be at the level of the section entered.
