LITERARY DIVISION

ADJUDICATOR:  Marie Radford & Wendy Lloyd, Townsville

1. Mark manuscript clearly in the top right corner of each page with Section number and Competitor’s name.
2. All submissions must be the original work of the competitor.The work may have been submitted as part of a school assignment. A completed Declaration form must be stapled to each literary work.
3. 1 entry per competitor per Section is allowed.
4. All literary works must be typed or written on A4 paper
5. A word count must be written at the end of the work.
6. Submissions exceeding Word Limits will receive adjudication but will not receive a mark.
7. All work needs to be final submission standard.
8. Clip Art, Publisher &/or illustrations may be used to enhance presentation.
9. Presentation should be in the style and character of the nature of the work.
10. Results will be published on the Townsville Eisteddfod Website & on Stardom.
11. Works will be displayed in the Civic Theatre Foyer from Wednesday 9^th to Wednesday 16^th September.
12. Prize presentations will be held in the Civic Theatre on Wednesday 16^th September 2026 from 3:30-4:30pm.
13. Works & trophies must be collected from the Civic Theatre before 26^th September 2026. Any work not claimed by 26^th September 2026 will be destroyed.
