Entries and Fees
All entries are to be made on-line via www.stardom.com.au.  No late entries/late entry fees will be accepted.  Entries close 5 pm Thursday 13 April 2017.
Each competitor pays a fee per section entered, as printed on the computer-generated invoice, plus a single administration fee appearing on the invoice after all required sections have been entered.

*Where age limits apply the age of a competitor as at 30 June 2017 will be used to determine entry, unless otherwise stated.

*The Eisteddfod Council reserves the right to cancel any sections which in its opinion have attracted insufficient entries and refund entry fees, or to divide or combine any section/s in consultation with entrants.


The Standish Roberts Brass Medallion may be presented to a brass player "for excellence in performance".

B939 Any Wind or Brass Player Solo     25 years and under

Time Limit: 15:00

Wind Recital open to all Wind and Brass Players. This section allows multiple entries for competitors who wish to enter on more than one instrument. Own choice of one or more works which demonstrate your technical and interpretive capabilities within a suggested time limit of 15 minutes. Competitors from this section aged 25 years or under on November 1, 2017, may be selected to compete in the MBS Young Virtuoso Award SA Final, The winner of the National Final will receive the MBS 2017 Travelling Scholarship of $10,000 provided by Freemasons Victoria and the Australian Fine Music Network. Rules 10, 11, 12 and 13 do not apply and any piece performed in another section or which has won a first prize may be played in this section. Winners of this section in previous years may re-enter but only with a different repertoire. The section is to be held in August at the Salvation Army Citadel, 55 George Street, Norwood. The SA Final will take place on Sunday October 15 from 2.30pm at St John's Church, Halifax Street, Adelaide. Prizes for the SA Final will be an Instrumental Prize of $750, a Vocal Prize of $750 and a SA Finalist Prize of $1,500 to be used towards costs of travelling interstate for the National Final in November. SA Final prizes are provided by sponsors Beta Sigma Phi and Size Music. NOTE: $20 REFUNDED WHEN PERFORMER ARRIVES TO PLAY
