ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR JUNIOR SCHOLARSHIP • Scholarship competitors must enter and perform in their appropriate age Character Sketch and either age Recitation or Australian Verse. • The piece to be performed in the Scholarship section must be different to that performed in the age Character Sketch and age Recitation or Australian Verse sections. • The winner will not be eligible to enter in the Scholarship Section in 2024 unless advancing from Junior to Intermediate Section, • PLEASE NOTE: The Committee reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to make any amendments to the structure of the Scholarship sections, the age limits, the prize money or any other factor depending upon the number of entrants in each section. Each element of the Scholarship will be performed by all competitors before moving on to the next element. The elements will be performed in the following order: Poem - 4 minutes Sight Reading - one minute preparation time Character Sketch - 4 minutes Time Limit does not include Sight Reading
