a)  Pop/Jazz/Movie selections are not permitted in this Division.

100 PIANO CHAMPIONSHIP     Open

1. Competitors to perform in Section 140 (PIANO SOLO - Certificate of Performance or Diploma Level or Above) or in Section 141 (PIANO SOLO - Grade 7 or 8). 2. Two pieces, contrasting styles, which have not been performed in this year’s Eisteddfod. 3. Pieces must be a minimum AMEB GRADE 7 standard (or equivalent).

101 PIANO CONCERTO     Open

1. One movement only with abridged accompaniment. 2. Orchestral part to be played on piano except where otherwise stated. 3. Competitors to arrange their own accompanist, who will not be adjudicated as part of the performance.
