SPEECH AND DRAMA GENERAL RULES

1. Prompts will only be given by the adjudicator.
2. Own choice of material.
3. The Set Verse Choices for Verse Speaking must be taken from the editions listed and are available from the Speech and Drama convenor at toowoombaeisteddfod.speech@gmail.com

DIVISION 09 - SPEECH & DRAMA PAIRS

DIVISION 09 - SPEECH AND DRAMA PAIRS DUOLOGUE

1.         Costume essential.
2.         Time allowed for bumping in and bumping out is one minute each.        
3.         Competitors can only compete once in each section.

POEM IN PAIRS

1.       A poem in pairs MUST be POETRY performed by TWO people. The poem must have metre and/or rhyme. Some sections (words or lines) must be spoken in unison. It should not            be confused with a duologue.
2.       Blacks/Costumes and basic props appropriate to the material may be used. 
3.       Competitors can only compete once in each section.
