Note: Entries close May 2nd, 11pm; Late entries until May 5th, 11pm and will incur a $13 fee;
No entries will be taken after May 5th.

Rules Specific to Bands
Contrasting pieces of your own choice to be played.
Primary and Secondary school bands play 2 contrasting pieces.
Open/Community Bands play 3 contrasting pieces.
Stage & Concert BandsA band should be a group of 11 plus players, with any instrument combination.
Stage will be ambient miked and set at same level for all bands.
Production notes and stage plans should be forwarded to Stage Manager.
School Bands competing should be composed mainly of full-time students currently enrolled at the school.
PLEASE NOTE: Teachers may assist in the following ways.
1. Play where there is a missing part but not doubling up on parts already covered by students.
Staff cannot exceed 1/3
2. Nonplaying teachers may sit beside students and assist with following music.
Contemporary Bands
In the contemporary section there may be 3 or more players.
Production notes and stage plans should be forwarded to Stage Manager.
A Sound tech will be provided.
Pieces can be modern of any genre.
Appropriate language; no swearing.
School Bands competing should be composed mainly of full-time students currently enrolled at the school.
